The Department of Mathematics, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, is delighted to announce the 2 International Conference on Computational and Applied Mathematics (ICCAM-2026), to be held from 16 -18 April, 2026. This international event aims to bring together researchers, academicians, scientists, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, share research experiences, and discuss new advances and innovations in the field of mathematics and its wide-ranging applications. The primary objective of ICCAM-2026 is to foster interaction among experts from academia and industry, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference will feature plenary sessions, keynote lectures, invited talks, paper presentations, and workshops delivered by distinguished speakers from leading national and international institutions. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research findings, discuss emerging trends, and gain insights into future directions of mathematical research and its applications. ICCAM-2026 will serve as a common platform to explore contemporary developments in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, computational techniques, mathematical modelling, numerical analysis, operations research, optimization, statistics, data analytics, and machine learning, along with their applications in various scientific and industrial domains.

Mathematics has always been the language of science and technology, and in the modern digital era, its role has become even more crucial. The integration of mathematics with computation, data science, artificial intelligence, and engineering has revolutionized research and innovation across disciplines.

About Pink City Jaipur

Jaipur—the "Pink City"—has a way of feeling both grand and lived-in at once. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, it was one of India’s first planned cities, laid out with grid-like precision inspired by Vastu Shastra and Shilpa Shastra. The nickname "Pink City" comes from 1876, when the old city was painted terracotta pink to welcome the Prince of Wales (pink symbolized hospitality), and the color just… stayed.
A few things that stand out:

  • City Palace – still partly home to the royal family, with courtyards, museums, and intricate architecture.
  • Hawa Mahal – the honeycomb-like “Palace of Winds,” built so royal women could watch street life unseen.
  • Amber Fort – a hilltop fortress of marble and sandstone with mirror halls that feel almost otherworldly.

  • Local markets – Johari Bazaar for jewelry, Bapu Bazaar for textiles, Tripolia for lac bangles.
Beyond the monuments, Jaipur is known for its Rajasthani thalis, ghewar sweets, block-printed fabrics, and a pace of life that blends modern malls with camel carts.
